  1. more subtitles in Ben Tristem's courses

I'm really interested in some of your courses but for not english people is rather important the subtitles, really a great help for us. Will you update or introduce them in others? I want to purchase some of them but without that help it's harder to follow some parts.

    • Unity: An in-depth intro to standard assets

Unity includes a lot of standard assets that are available for importing. (Are these the same as Unity Essentials?) They're considered to be so useful by Unity, that it's included as a download option when you download it.

A quick guide to the standard assets might be handy, like the intro to Cross Input Controls in the TwinSticks Unity lecture. Some of those standard assets can be confusing, even with the documentation provided. I liked your intro to Cross Input Controls. Here's what it is, here's why it exists, here's how it should be placed it in your scene, here's…

      • Prototyping Techniques

I would like to see a YouTube video or some other lesson on the basics of prototyping an idea. Do's and don'ts. Tricks of the trade. Show an example of taking a basic idea, writing down some decisions, and then quickly prototyping a scene or something.

Should we use basic primitives? How much scripting and debugging should go into it? How long does it take?

More importantly, let's say you have a prototype (or even a complex prototype that you found suitable enough to get some basic playtesting done)... I'm interested in the process of taking it and turning it…

        • Storing Data for Games

I'm sure this has to be covered somewhere, but I don't know where or when. I would be interested in learning more about how data for games is stored in seperate files and accessed in play. Save game data. Character customization data. Mod data. Username and password data. Dialog data.

Do we need or is it helpful to learn database principles? Should we learn another "database language" or program?

I think this idea might also incorporate the "essence" of a lot of other scattered and isolated topics and I think we could use some discussion on how games use data,…

          • GeoSpatial Data

With the success of pokemon go, it would be great to learn how to make games that intergrate real-world space (maps/location) and using geo-spatial databases to implement in game-space

                    • Advanced game development

                      1. Unity/C# object oriented design (including patterns) and how it's implemented in code
                      2. Efficient code (e.g., Code Complete concepts in Unity)
                      3. Path finding algorithms (in 2D, isometric, 3D)
                      4. Virtual intelligence or learning 'enemies', flocking algorithms
                      5. Managing large game worlds (not all will fit in computer memory so how to seamlessly load new sections of the game world without players noticing)
6.Advanced physics (leaves falling, water splashes, skeletal kinematics, etc.)
                      7. Automated unit testing
                      8. Rule based games (Heroclix, e.g., how will the game know a player's move is valid based on current rules?)
                      9. Saving/loading states …

A complete course about coding shaders from the very basics of cg programming.

There are almost no resources where you can learn the principles of cg with shaderlab in an easy and structured way.
