  1. The Complete 3D Pipeline For Game Developers

    In Progress- LAUNCHING EARLY DECEMBER

    Whilst putting together a game asset pack it preparation for future course became apparent that importing assets and setting them up correctly in your project can be a real pain.

    I have so far dissected the process for Unity5, Unreal4 and CryEngine5 and realised there is scope for a course on this itself.

    All of the course will be possible using Free Software

    The course scope will focus on just Unity initially with scope for additional engines to be covered in either this course or a separate course depending on the workflow differences.

      Hey everyone, thanks for all your feedback on this.

      We have decided to remain focused on one game engine at a time.

      The First Game Engine to be covered is Unity.

      I am putting together an intermediate course now, focused only on the pipeline between Blender and Unity

      It will be launched in Early December and built up from then onwards with your feedback :)

    • Prototyping Techniques

      I would like to see a YouTube video or some other lesson on the basics of prototyping an idea. Do's and don'ts. Tricks of the trade. Show an example of taking a basic idea, writing down some decisions, and then quickly prototyping a scene or something.

      Should we use basic primitives? How much scripting and debugging should go into it? How long does it take?

      More importantly, let's say you have a prototype (or even a complex prototype that you found suitable enough to get some basic playtesting done)... I'm interested in the process of taking it and turning it…
