  1. Procedural vehicle generation in Blender with Python

    This is very inspired by this awesome Blender script: https://github.com/a1studmuffin/SpaceshipGenerator

    Just imagine if you want to make a teaming spaceport for an animation. With stuff like this you can create thousands of background ships in an instant and don't have to buy premade models or spend an insane amount of time on modeling background stuff.

    • Generate Plants procedurally using fractals / L-systems

      L-systems are a type of fractal, which was originally invented by a botanist to describe the shapes that plants take. They make a great basis for lots of procedural generation techniques other than plants too.

      • VR Ready Building Generator Based on CSV location file

        I need to learn how to generate low poly buildings based on a CSV file that contains locations for the geometry and an attribute for the building.

        I.e location = (2,2 / 3.3 / 4.4 / 5.5) height = 20 / building type = skyscraper1 .

        This would then place a building of type skyscraper1 at the defined location in blender. Automatically texture it as well as keeping the polygon count sufficiently low for VR. In addition being able to define and place trees & road from the CSV would also be very useful.

        • Procedural creature generator

          Generate procedural creatures and relate animations to them, similar to the no man`s sky system. I would like to set parameters such as: size, colors, habitate type (this influences the creature to have wings, flippers, etc).

          • Procedurally place objects on ground

            Procedurally place lots of slightly different (random parameters) objects on ground, where the ground is e.g. a plane that is modeled as a landscape with rolling hills and valleys.

                  • Converting a Maya MEL script into Blender

                    Maya has lots of community scripts on the web.

                    Would be cool if the course covered a tutorial about converting an existing popular (free) MEL script into Blender.

                      It would be cool to generate enemies based on some logic using Python
